BIASA operates as part of a national network.  Each state of Australia and the Northern Territory has a Boating Industry Association and these are strongly linked. 

BIASA with the other BIAs is part owner and an independent member of two national industry bodies:

• The Australian Marine Industries Federation (AMIF) which represents the interests of the state BIAs and their members at national and international levels; and
• The Marina Association of Australia (MAA) which represents marinas, slipways and boatyards at local, state and federal levels and also within the global community.

The BIAs also support the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX), Australia’s peak industry body on export initiatives.

Through its relationships with AMIF, MAA and AIMEX, BIASA has strong links throughout Australia and the world.
